Poem: Standing Tall by Jaime Chay

March 29th, 2009 · 2 Comments

Living is easy,

Truly, it is not.

Struggling during hard times,

And constantly get put on the spot.

Fighting hard to live,

And staying very strong.

Though you may not believe,

And you think I’m very wrong,

I may appear to be weak,

But you won’t see me fall.

Struggle after struggle,

Striving through it all.

Whatever life gives me and makes me

I am going to stand tall.

Pairs

God had created everything in pairs,

Just like when there is moon, there is sun.

When there is heaven, there is hell,

When there is happiness, there is sadness,

When there is Adam, there is Eve.

But as everything comes in a pair,

There would be someone who thinks there are singles.

All these kinds of people are typical,

Stubborn yet kind, charming yet mischievous,

These people would be a part and parcel of your life sooner or later,

The ones who made your life has ups and downs.

And just like the saying goes ‘Nobody is Perfect’

Yet ‘Practice makes Perfect‘

End of Time is End of the World

Have you ever wondered what would happen when the time ends?

You and me, no more, vanished into nowhere/

Different religions, different beliefs,

It’s frightening when you know these facts,

The fear in your heart would be remembered,

The fear of losing your loved ones,

Never to meet them again,

Grieve with sorrow,

Your character, your personality, your life,

Would soon come to an end.

End of time, end of the world.

No people, no buildings,

No plants, no animals,

Earth would vanish,

And so would the solar system,

There might be the next starting of life, maybe not,

Who knows except God.

End of time is end of the world,

Where the time would vanish.

End of world means no Earth and nothing at all.

After life, means heaven or hell

I believe,

Everyone would go to heaven, it is just sooner or later,

Sooner for those with good deeds,

Later for those with bad sins

You should be afraid if you had done bad sins,

You may cry, moan or whine

But you don’t have the choice

He does, and He would make it sooner or later

End of time, end of world

It is coming,

I know it

Truth would be lies, and lies would be true,

Animals would talk in our tongue,

Evil people being influenced,

Sun rises in East and sets in West

End of time, end of world

It would come,

Your heart would feel it,

Deep inside,

It’s going to end

Everything.

Love

When we say about love, do you really know what it means?

Love isn’t saying ‘ Would you marry me? ‘

Love isn’t giving your partner what you have

Love could be complicated

Love is blind

Love could be harmful and dangerous

Love could be fatal

If you love somebody, you would know what love is.

Love is saying ‘I do.‘

Love is sharing what you both have

Love could be easygoing

Love is who we are

Love could be joyful and happy

Love could be as sweet as apple pie

You can express love in different languages but it only has one meaning.

You can experience love in different ways but it is just a part and parcel of your life.

The wonderful thing about love is being able to let the other people know how much you care about them.

You just have to cherish them before anything untoward happens.

Poem: Night by Jaime Chay

Night

Humongous space
Dancing planets
Black sky
Smiling moon
Flickering stars
Breezy wind
Humming Earth
Mesmerized souls
Happy hearts
Lights out
Sweet dreams

Poem: My Life

March 17th, 2009 · No Comments

Everything falling apart

just like a broken glass.

Even though you glued it back

it does not look perfect.

I wish I was no longer here.

I had enough of everything

and I’m tired of pretending.

However, I love everyone who supports me especially my family.

When I fall,

they try their best to support me.

When I stand,

they feel proud of me.

Through 15 years of my life,

I lost my father at the age of 13.

He was the strength of my wall.

However, when he gone forever,

I lost my confidence in everything.

It took me months to overcome this grief.

I woke up one morning,

telling myself I shall continue with my life

even though my father is gone forever.

No matter what happened in the past,

I shall forget.

Now, mother, sister and brother

are the strengths of my wall.

I shall continue with my life.
