A holiday for the end of the autumn,
Didn’t know it wouldn’t last for next dawn.
Sitting by the beach, savoring a bar of Magnum,
Now, it is all gone.
A monster came and destroyed everything in a blink of an eye.
It left the island drenched and torn.
An innocent massacre I can’t deny,
Now, it is all gone.
Loss of families, friends and spouse,
Missing of mothers with the unborn.
Corpse scattered lying in pounds,
Now, it is all gone.
I won’t forget this hapless tragedy,
As my life goes on.
26 December 2004, Tsunami,
Now, it is all gone.

You Are
By Erni 3S5

You are the one who brought me to life
Without you, there is no way I’ll survive.
Just last night,
You tried to tell me what’s right
Telling me your heart felt like it got burnt,
When you see me all spoilt and stubborn.
I sat by the window,
You said you wished I know
How torn you were ripped apart,
Ever since I disappointed you right from the start.
Sorry for the many disagreements,
And all my clumsy disappointments.
Sorry for the hurtful words and actions,
And why didn’t I listen to your advice and suggestions?
You are the light of my life,
The one who stopped my crying
The one who was the expert
At picking up when I’m lying.
Are there really words for this?
I find this question tough
Everything I want to say
Just doesn’t seem enough.
I hope to make you proud one day
Just before you say you’ll go away.
I’m sorry for everything, moreover my lies.
Now I finally realized, I need you and I love you
So much, I’m sorry mum.
Mum, we didn’t forget you we swear
Cuz no matter what, we will always be there.
I hope you will stay
After what you said this morning.
You sat in your bedroom all alone,
I tried to hold my tears when I heard you crying.
I tried to be strong
Mum, you know, I needed you all along!
I hope to see you home when I come back today,
Mum, without you we wouldn’t we okay.
As I stepped outside the door,
I fall on my knees, crying on the floor.
Mum, you are our everything.
Without you, we are nothing.
Coz Mum,
You make my life complete.

Who Am I?
By Umairah 3S5
I am a person,
With feelings of my own.
I am an artist,
With every action untold.
I am an animal,
Trapped behind bars.
I am fifteen this year,
So I can’t drive a car.
I am a daughter,
Whom everybody shuns.
I am a freak,
Whom everybody makes puns.
I am in love,
Even though I am shunned.
I am Umariah,
And my life is done.

Repetition
By Fawizah (2V6)
Repetitions, again and again
It gives off nothing but pain
The roses have dried up
I tried not to give up.
You pretended just like them
You did rhyme my rhythm
For that, I fell
You cheated on me well.

Fragile Heart
By Ismat Aqil (2V7)
Heart is Fragile
Once it falls, it will break into pieces
Even though you can mend it
It will not look like a brand new heart
You can still see the lines
Our heart cannot forget the hurtful memories
It will hurt us and stick to us no matter what
Even if the heart looks perfect
You cannot be sure that there are no lines
Because it can be covered up and no one can see them with a naked eye
Every Heart is Fragile, both girls’ and boys’
Because every human being living in this world has a heart
It is the way they treat it, either with care or hatred.

Happiness is golden.
It smells like atmosphere of a crowd.
It tastes like honey.
It sounds like a celebration.
It feels like having a trophy.

Loneliness is grey.
It smells like an ashes.
It tastes like a typical spanish fruit.
It sounds like a trapping grey bird.
It feels like a kid who lost a direction and
It lives in an unhappiness world.
